Houston Archery Lessons

“The archery lesson was phenomenal! The kids were so surprised, and they loved it. By the time we got out to the parking lot, Katy Jane was already asking when we will be going back. Jacob was a great instructor, and it was nice how the other instructors would jump in and give them pointers as well. It was fantastic how this worked for all three of my kids together although they have a wide age range.”

”Our daughter decided after watching Disney’s ‘Brave’ that she wanted to ‘try that’. So for Christmas we bought her a little $25 bow set with 3 arrows. After her dad showed her how to hold, load and release, she was hitting bullseyes within a few hours. Two months later (and three bows) we took her to a local range where we were told that she was actually really good and we needed to get her a ‘real’ bow. We did, and for the next 4 years she shot and shot and shot. We knew she needed a coach to take her to the next level and that the coach would have to be able to work with her personality so we started asking and looking. Coach James Loesch’s name came up several times so we decided to see if it would be a match. Within the first 15 minutes, I knew that we had found our Coach! He has been working with her for 12 months now and has taken her from a good barebow shooter to an Olympic Recurve archer with goals of being an Olympian. Her progress has been impressive and I can not state enough my appreciation for Coach James’ mentality of not wasting our money on equipment that she just doesn’t need or isn’t ready for. He is patient, encouraging, and understanding because he’s been ‘in her shoes’. Oh, and he puts up with me as well.”
